A seminar and discussion investigating the implications that Vocal Dance and the Integrative Performance Practice might
have on composition, pedagogy and performance practice of new vocal works, opera and music theatre. Special guest interlocutors
will include Composer, Orlando Gough, Composer and singer, Susie Self & John Berry from the English National Opera.
The Centre for Excellence in Training for Theatre has been created by The Central School of Speech and Drama, University
of London. It works to provide a national resource for vocational performing arts training and learning, a focus for theatre
research and scholarship, and a site for collaboration, nationally and internationally, between industry, Higher Education,
and specialist training providers.
